Yinan‘s first blog for learning from PETE
This is my first blog and I just learnt a lot from ELT planning blog. It is a great attempt for me to start using and managing my own blog, and there are some tips I have grasped from PETE’s blog.👀
Organization and Layout
• Clear structure: Articles are reviewed in chronological order or by event category, which is logical and convenient for readers to follow the author's ideas.😁
• Clear paragraphs: Each paragraph revolves around a theme, and the layout is concise and clear, avoiding large blocks of text.
• Visual appeal
Content and Features
• Informative: Provides a review of key events throughout the year, diverse and extensive
• Authenticity: Personal narratives add credibility and are easily relatable to readers.
Ease of Use and Negative Aspects
• There are a lot of categories, and it is very clear to show the classified modules. There is a comment section to facilitate communication with readers
• links, tables of contents or redirects, readers can easily find the section they are interested in.
Target Audience
Clear audience:
ELT practitioners, teachers
Next, while writing my own blog, I can also better write my own blog!😊

Hi Yinan! This is a great start and what I loved about your post is that I could clearly hear your own voice. You did not write too much for each point - just enough to be informative. I was also very happy to find that the menus were in English so I could easily find my way around your blog :-)
ReplyDeleteI like the starting screen shot which has photos of the writers of the other blog but I wondered who 'Pete' was. Perhaps in your next post you will need to be careful to introduce the topic with enough facts for the reader to understand the context. Well done again - I hope you enjoy your blogging journey!

ReplyDeleteThat's wonderful, Yinan! Looking forward to hearing more. BTW, I believe that this is a post not a blog. Best of luck!
ReplyDeleteGreat organisation, very brief and concise, a good start
