This Week’s Learning Reflection: Using Voki, Quizlet, and Kahoot in English Teaching
This week in my TESOL studies, I explored several interesting educational tools: Voki, Quizlet, and Kahoot . These platforms can make English lessons more interactive and are especially useful for increasing students’ motivation. However, while using them, I also noticed some drawbacks. Here, I’d like to share my thoughts and reflections How Do These Tools Help Students Learn? Voki – This tool allows users to create animated avatars that can “speak.” Teachers can use it to record dialogues or stories, and students can create their own characters to practice speaking. For shy students, this method reduces the pressure of speaking and makes them more willing to express themselves. Quizlet – A fantastic vocabulary learning tool! Its flashcard feature helps students memorize words, while the test mode allows them to check their progress.
